Membership into Hague Accreditation’s Full Service Program includes: One Complete (TEMPLATE) Self-Study CD to get you started. We will work wtih you to help you develp your own agency’s individual self-study.
We guide you in putting together the nine supporting sections that include all needed policies, procedures, contracts and manuals for your agency’s Hague accreditation. A CD containing each document in Word format, is provided, so that the documents may be easily changed to meet your agency’s procedures or updated by you for your particular situation. For example, if a board of directors member changes, you can open the Board of Directors documents, which are Hague compliant and in Microsoft Word on the CD, and add your new board member. Save the new document, and insert it into your CD to replace the outdated document.
Included with membership to the Full Program is email support to assist with your questions as they arise.
For agencies who are interested in having a Hague Accreditation assistant come personally to your agency office to work with you on Hague regulations, we have personnel trained for this. However, our program is self-explanatory and laid out in easy-to-follow steps, much like a “dossier” that you compile for the Hague Accrediting persons; you should be able to follow it without additional help.
DOCUMENT SAMPLES such as forms, check list, policies, contracts and examples are provided.
There are approximately 24 Model Forms, 21 Examples forms, 6 sample policies, 5 checklist and 3 sample contracts with sample attachments that can be used with any contact.
The Hague Intercountry Adoption Act of 2000 has been broken down into 25 standards which agencies must follow. We are including the first and second standards as examples. Click here to see Standard number one. Be sure to scroll through all three pages. On the first page, you will see the Standard with a section number. Throughout the Full Program, the Standard pages are all white. The legal section number for this first Standard is 96.30. Then the following page gives the Compliance for the Standard. Compliance pages are colored yellow throughout the program. The third page gives Compliance Supporting Detail, all color coded blue throughout the program, and explains in detail what your agency must provide to comply with Section 96.30. Section 96.30 requires the agency to have a copy of their state license where the Hague Accreditors can examine it. Our Full Program Book Two has a place for the license to be displayed.
Click here to see Standard number two, Section 96.31. This section requires the agency to explain their corporate structure. All adoption agencies who plan to be considered “agencies” by the Hague accreditors, must be non-profit. The supporting document for Section 96.31 is the agency’s non-profit tax status under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. Full Program Book Two has a place where this document will be displayed. For-profit agencies will be named “Approved Persons” by the Hague and compliance includes the display of corporate licensing in Book Two.
These two examples serve to show how simple it is for an agency to follow Hague Standards using Hague Accreditation service’s Full Program. The rest of the 25 Standards list and provide necessary policies, contracts, quality control teams, training manuals etc. Our Full Program includes our copyrighted materials and templates of all of these documents, which are able to be used and adapted, when necessary, by your agency.
