Hague Accreditation executive director, Mary Lib Mooney, holds a degree in Human Services, and has nine years of experience in administration of both non-profit and for-profit organizations, including her current position as director of International Adoption Guides, a licensed child placement agency.

Ms. Mooney founded the website
www.TheAdoptionGuide.com that won the prestigious award of "Best of the Web" four years in a row from Forbes Magazine; and the March 12, 2001 issue of U.S. News and World Report details her effort to bring ethics to international adoption. In the past six years, other publications about Mary’s work include The Roanoke Times, LA Times, Canadian Providence, MSNBC, and USA Today.

In addition to being a past director of Head Start of Rockbridge County, North Carolina, Mary Mooney also supervised the JCAHO accreditation of Hospice Volunteer, Ministerial and Social Work Services in Goldsboro, NC.

Mary’s background also includes writing policy and procedure manuals for HELP Incorporated, Wentworth, NC, a multi-faceted mental health agency. She served as administrator of Tideland Mental Health, Mattamuskeet Opportunities of Fairfield, NC and has written state grants, and foundation grants as well as served on many community boards.
 
Pat Poston, Mark Johnson, Lynn Stewart and Rush Lawson serve as consultants.
Mr. Lawson graduated in 1990 from Baylor University in Waco, Texas with a B.A. Degree in Foreign Service and a minor in Japanese. He then graduated in 1995 from Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, Mississippi with a J.D. law degree, where he was President of Phi Delta Phi international legal society. He also studied civil law at the University of Florence in Italy, and gained a Bolivian civil law degree in 2000 at the Universidad Gabriel Rene Moreno in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. He is a member of the Florida Bar, Tennessee Bar Association and the Santa Cruz Colegio de Abogados, the American Bar Association, The Florida Adoption Council and the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers. He works in the areas of immigration and adoption.

www.ibocservices.com Mark has been working in adoption for many years as an agency director and working with other agencies. His experience in the adoption and social services industry for over 14 year helps us to bring together many issues that are needed to move into the new regulations. He has worked with many agencies both large and small, new and seasoned, domestic and international. Mark brings to the table a lot of knowledge about organizational issues that are essential to becoming accredited.

Mrs. Poston is a writer and retired Senior vice president of communications Premier. She has many years in the business of accreditation and professional ethics. She brings her knowledge of policies, procedures, ethical standards of practice and accreditation to our team.

Lynn Stewart has a Maters in Education and is working to develope educational resources for our members. She is also working as the director of membership for Hague Accreditation Services.  Her background is in teaching, banking, mental heath services and financial management.

We want YOU to have input and work with us as a team. We have hired several people to work on a contractual basis that have had past experience in the accreditation service field as it relates to the accreditation of hospitals and medical facilities. Their input has been great, and we hope their experience in the field of accreditation will help. They will be available via the online classes for you to interact with.

Membership into Hague Accreditation Services will give you unlimited use of copyrighted material written and approved by us for adoption agencies' accreditation. You will be given samples to use or make changes as your local attorney may advise.
